At Bechtle AG, we are seeking a Solution Architect Network & Security to join our team. You will be responsible for developing comprehensive network and security architectures, translating business needs into scalable technical solutions, and driving the technical direction for complex infrastructure projects.
What You'll Do
- Develop network and security architectures for on-premise, hybrid, and cloud environments.
- Create end-to-end solution designs for complex IT infrastructure projects.
- Define architecture standards, reference architectures, and best practices.
- Evaluate new technologies in the networking and security field.
- Support projects as the technical lead for network and security topics.
- Create solution designs, architecture diagrams, and technical concepts.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Integrate security-by-design principles into network architectures.
- Support the implementation of Zero Trust, Network Segmentation, and Secure Access concepts.
What We're Looking For
- Higher education in computer science or an equivalent qualification.
- Several years of experience in network and security architecture, preferably with vendors like Cisco, Meraki, HPE/Aruba, or Palo Alto Networks.
- Several years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably with technologies from Microsoft, Tenable, Cisco, Fortinet, or Palo Alto.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork.
- Stylistically confident German language skills in speech and writing.
- Good English language skills.
Nice to Have
- Enjoyment in presenting and moderating workshops.
- High interest in new technologies and continuous further education.
