Capgemini is looking for a Network & Security Engineer to play a key role in designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting our growing network infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability and integrity of our voice, data, video, and wireless network services while planning and implementing critical security measures.
What You'll Do
- Design and deploy functional networks, including LAN, WLAN, WAN, and SD-WAN.
- Configure and install various network devices and services such as routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, and QoS.
- Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations.
- Monitor performance to ensure system availability and reliability.
- Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and conduct capacity planning.
- Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve complex issues.
- Work within established configuration and change management policies.
- Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures with the company’s security team.
- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a network administrator role.
- Hands-on experience in networking, routing, and switching.
- Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure.
- Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
- Ability to set up and configure server hardware.
- Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience working with Checkpoint, Palo Alto, F5, and Cisco technologies.
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Dependable and flexible when necessary.
- Network security experience.
- Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
Nice to Have
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP).
- Checkpoint Certified Security Administrator (CCSA) or Checkpoint Certified Security Expert (CCSE).
- Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator (PCNSA) or Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE).
- F5 Certified Administrator (F5-CA).
- AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty or equivalent Azure certifications.
- NV1 clearance.
