As a Lead Specialty Software Engineer, you will drive high-impact technical initiatives across key domains, focusing on the design, development, testing, and deployment of advanced software systems. Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of critical software components, tools, simulations, and analytics platforms
- Ensure systems are resilient, observable, and optimized for performance and risk control
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve resource use, and reduce operational costs
- Address complex technical challenges in coding, testing, and platform stability
- Champion compliance and risk management practices within engineering workflows
- Guide and mentor junior engineers to foster technical growth and knowledge sharing
- Collaborate with production support and platform teams to maintain system reliability
- Influence stakeholders at all levels to align engineering outcomes with business goals
Qualifications
Required: Minimum of five years of experience in Specialty Software Engineering or a combination of education, training, and hands-on technical work.
Preferred: Practical experience with Golang and Rust; proficiency in DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines; familiarity with Kanban Agile practices; and prior Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) background.
