Olsson is looking for a Lead Project Manager - Data Center to oversee large, multidiscipline design projects throughout design and construction phases. At our people-centric firm, you will be responsible for driving successful project delivery that has a positive impact on communities, ensuring adherence to approved design, specifications, and contracts.
What You'll Do
- Act as the primary point of contact between the design team, client representatives, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Oversee the implementation of design intent, ensuring project execution aligns with specifications, contract documents, and quality standards.
- Manage the flow of technical documentation (RFIs, submittals, design deliverables), reviewing for cross-discipline completeness and constructability.
- Drive project delivery to meet schedule and budget milestones, proactively identifying and mitigating project risks.
- Lead the resolution of technical and site-specific issues, coordinating between design and construction partners.
- Conduct regular site observations and quality reviews to verify progress, identify deficiencies, and ensure reporting accuracy.
- Lead and document project coordination meetings to drive decision-making and team alignment.
- Manage the scope modification process, including the review and negotiation of Change Orders and contract adjustments.
- Oversee the closeout process, ensuring the accurate maintenance of record documents and final deliverables.
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of project experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industry with increasing responsibility.
- 2+ years of experience in industry-related project management or construction management.
- Excellent communication, organization, time management, attention to detail, and problem-solving.
- Knowledge of engineering/design terms, contracts, financials, and operations.
- Proven ability to meet client expectations through effective project or construction management.
- Strong decision-making, leadership, organization, and negotiation abilities.
- Strong conflict management and resolution skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, construction management software, and understanding of construction processes/codes.

Work Mode
This is a remote position open to candidates in Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. The role requires weekly travel to project sites.
