BAE Systems Intelligence & Security is looking for a Lead Project Controller to join our team supporting the critical Type 26 Programme. In this role, you will be instrumental in implementing and maintaining rigorous project controls processes to ensure the successful delivery of large and high-value projects.
What You'll Do
- Support the implementation of project controls processes across large, high-value projects, ensuring consistent application of best-practice methodologies.
- Monitor and report on project performance by analyzing cost, schedule, and key performance indicators from multiple data sources.
- Provide clear insights to support effective decision-making for senior stakeholders.
- Work closely with Project Managers and Control Account Managers, offering data-driven support to manage cost, schedule, risks, and emerging issues.
- Maintain core project controls activities, including Estimate at Completion updates, resource profiling, and supporting risk and opportunity management.
What We're Looking For
- Extensive professional experience in project controls, with the capability to support large and multi-layered projects.
- Experienced knowledge of core Project Controls disciplines, including reporting, Earned Value Management, cost management, scheduling, risk and opportunity guidance, and baseline change control.
- Proficient in key Project Controls toolsets such as COBRA and Tableau.
- Good assessing and problem-solving skills to interpret highly detailed data from multiple sources, conduct root cause analysis, and present clear, actionable recommendations.
- Must achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard as a minimum.
- Must have between 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK, depending on vetting level required.
