CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is hiring a Lead Mobile Building Engineer to oversee the operational integrity of critical building systems. In this role, you will lead preventive maintenance and corrective repairs for mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems across facilities.
What You'll Do
- Oversee maintenance and repairs to mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems to keep them up to applicable standards.
- Review assigned work orders, estimate time and materials needed, and maintain an inventory of adequate supplies and tools.
- Direct the implementation of a preventive maintenance program to ensure building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life.
- Review inspections of building and industrial systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing.
- Coordinate compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and company directives.
- Operate company-issued vehicles in the execution of daily work responsibilities.
- Apply in-depth knowledge to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
- Coach others, share knowledge, and lead by example, modeling behaviors consistent with CBRE's RISE values.
- Explain difficult or sensitive information and work to build consensus.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. A combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a diploma.
- Universal CFC certification.
- Valid Driver’s license.
- Ability to meet physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying loads of 50 lbs. or more.
