Thomson Reuters is hiring a Lead Consultant to own the successful implementation of our software packages and solutions for clients worldwide. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact, managing the entire project lifecycle from kick-off to closure, ensuring solutions are tailored to meet specific customer needs.

What You'll Do

• Identify customer needs, tailor proposed solutions, and implement the product.
• Conduct business requirements sessions to analyze needs and evaluate product fitment.
• Design, develop, configure, test, and deploy the product.
• Train customers and build requisite project documentation.
• Maintain strong working relationships with customers throughout the end-to-end process.
• Engage from project kick-off through closure, including hypercare support.
• Work with customers to develop and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Assist in production preparation and conduct go-live activities.
• Provide go-live and escalated problem support, organizing handover to the support team.
• Travel to client locations for implementations or sales demos as required.
• Assist pre-sales and sales teams with proposal development and high-level product design.
• Perform proof of concepts and conduct solution demos for client stakeholders.
• Collaborate with different internal teams for product improvements and issue resolution.
• Deliver projects successfully within scope, budget, and schedule, individually and as a team.
• Achieve utilization KPI targets and manage key stakeholders for excellent customer satisfaction.
• Support other groups within Thomson Reuters and contribute to practice-building initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Business Management (12+3 or 12+4 degree from a reputed university).
• 2 to 12 years of relevant experience with SQL, Software Package Solutions, and the Japanese Language.
• Mandatory technical know-how of SQL.
• Competency with all Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong consulting, influencing, and client relationship management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented with strong planning, organization, and time management skills.
• Experience working and collaborating in a globally distributed team environment.
• A positive learning attitude.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Global Trade and Supply Chain domains.
• Know-how of the Japanese language is desired.
• Exposure to Global Trade or Supply Chain software solutions.
• Knowledge of Thomson Reuters products or competitor products.
• Ability to engage in consulting assignments like Health Checks or Roadmap workshops.

Work Mode
