At Sleek, we are looking for a Lead Compliance Officer to champion a culture of compliance and risk awareness across our global operations. You will leverage technology to ensure scalable adherence to regulatory standards, reviewing high-risk client assessments, managing alerts, and enhancing our monitoring processes.

What You'll Do

Review 100% of escalated high-risk client cases within 2 hours, providing constructive feedback to the compliance officer.
Present each high-risk client case to the Head of Compliance for final approval within 4 hours.
Ensure no name screening alerts remain outstanding for more than 24 hours.
Ensure no transaction monitoring alerts remain unresolved beyond 48 hours.
Conduct quality reviews of Low/Medium/High-Risk cases, covering at least 20% of each risk category.
Prepare a quarterly findings report with suggested remediations to improve quality and adherence.
Complete and/or review at least 80% of investigations within 15 calendar days.
Ensure any required STRs are filed within 5 calendar days of closing an investigation.
Identify and recommend key improvements in client KYC, risk assessment, transaction monitoring, or screening processes.
Work with Product and IT teams to implement enhancements to on-board and on-going monitoring processes.

What We're Looking For

Minimum of 3 years experience as a Compliance Officer.
Located in Singapore.
Proven track record of Ownership: reliability, accountability, seeing things through to completion.
Proven track record of Humility: open-mindedness to feedback, willingness to learn, collaboration.
Proven track record of Structured Thinking: sound judgement, pragmatic solutions.
Clear communicator with excellent spoken and written English.
Ability to have tough conversations in a positive way with kindness.

Team & Environment

You will report directly to the Head of Compliance or CFO.
