Responsibilities
- Oversee the upkeep and functionality of building infrastructure, including climate control, electrical networks, and water systems.
- Track and analyze energy consumption patterns to promote efficient building performance.
- Supervise external contractors and manage tenant space modifications.
- Develop financial plans, manage equipment inventory, and oversee procurement processes.
- Lead, mentor, and assess engineering personnel; establish performance targets and career development strategies.
- Coordinate with tenants, external partners, and property managers to maintain consistent building operations and resolve occupancy concerns.
- Work with suppliers to define project scopes and ensure adherence to contractual obligations and quality benchmarks.
- Perform regular system evaluations, keep accurate maintenance records, and ensure compliance documentation is up to date.
- Enforce workplace safety standards, including proper use of protective gear, lockout/tagout procedures, and adherence to OSHA, NEC, NFC, and NFPA regulations; lead safety training and hazard reporting.
- Communicate professionally in writing and verbally with internal teams, management, vendors, tenants, and client representatives to provide updates and ensure alignment.
- Carry out additional assigned tasks as required.
