Responsibilities
- Support architecture planning, migration, and setup for new initiatives within the assigned technology domain.
- Lead the design of scalable and adaptable platform, database, middleware, or backup solutions based on system needs.
- Assess current and projected technology demands to plan capacity effectively.
- Apply advanced features of underlying technologies to maintain stable database and application performance.
- Develop and execute disaster recovery strategies, including backup and restoration procedures.
- Oversee daily operations within the technology domain.
- Resolve operational issues through troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and preventive fixes.
- Plan and manage system upgrades, migrations, maintenance, backups, installations, and configurations.
- Evaluate technical performance and implement optimizations to enhance efficiency and reduce bottlenecks.
- Organize team shift schedules to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, data governance documents, manuals, test plans, and architectural guidelines.
- Deliver weekly progress updates to client and internal leadership on database-related activities and next steps.
- Drive service improvements through automation and technology-enabled initiatives.
- Anticipate workforce needs based on present and future business requirements.
- Recruit qualified personnel to meet team objectives.
- Coach team leads in making effective hiring and selection decisions.
- Ensure full compliance with onboarding and training standards to boost team capability.
- Develop a pipeline of high-potential internal talent and support their career advancement.
