Role Overview
This is a fully remote position supporting the stability and efficiency of live trading systems. As a Systems & Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining production environments, building automation solutions, and ensuring system security and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain production trading systems to ensure high availability and operational continuity
- Develop and support Python scripts and tools for monitoring, deployment, and operational dashboards
- Manage Windows environments, including configuration, updates, performance optimization, and incident resolution
- Administer identity and device management platforms across Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues spanning operating systems, applications, and network components
- Support security best practices through system hardening, patch management, and monitoring
- Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to critical system alerts
Technology Environment
The role operates within a Microsoft-centric ecosystem. Core technologies include Python for automation, Windows for system operations, and Microsoft 365 with Entra ID and Intune for identity and endpoint management.
