Trinchero Family Wine and Spirits is hiring a seasonal, nonexempt Lab Technician at its Paso Robles location. You will be responsible for performing analysis of wine and grape components to support our winemaking process.

What You'll Do

Understand and comply with all safety requirements.
Obtain wine samples from tanks and juice samples from grape trucks.
Perform pH, TA, brix, and nutritional analyses on grape and juice samples.
Perform analysis on bottling tanks, bottled wine, and wines in storage.
Work safely and maintain a clean work station.
Generate analytical results accurately and efficiently.
Perform wine analyses using specialized laboratory equipment.
Perform chemical preparation including acids, bases, buffers, and reference standards.
Understand the Food Safety and Quality Management System and related ISO standards.
Report problems with the food safety management system to your supervisor.
Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Good interpersonal skills, proven ability to communicate effectively and work well with other employees.
Ability to follow instructions and take direction.
Valid California Driver’s license and clean DMV report.

Nice to Have

Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Enology, Chemistry or a similar Science.
Lab courses or familiarity with winemaking.

Benefits & Compensation

Pay Range: $21.06 - $23.43 per hour.

This is an onsite position located in Paso Robles, California.
