Welocalize is looking for a Korean Language Lead on a contract basis to provide specialized translation expertise for life sciences content. You will join the GlobalCorporate Production team, focusing on delivering high-quality Korean-language materials.
What You'll Do
- Lead Korean language translation efforts for life sciences content, including pharmaceutical, medical device, and clinical research materials.
- Ensure linguistic quality, accuracy, and cultural appropriateness of translated materials.
- Collaborate with project managers and other language leads to maintain consistency and meet deadlines.
- Review and provide feedback on translations performed by other linguists.
- Stay current with terminology and trends specific to the life sciences industry in both Korean and the source language.
What We're Looking For
- Native-level fluency in Korean and professional proficiency in English.
- Proven experience as a lead linguist or senior translator specializing in life sciences.
- Deep subject matter expertise in life sciences, with a portfolio demonstrating work on complex materials.
- Strong understanding of localization processes and quality assurance methodologies.
- Excellent communication and project coordination skills for remote collaboration.
Work Mode
This is a fully remote, contract position.
