Manchester Airports Group (MAG) is looking for a Kitchen Assistant to support our Airport Hospitality Team at Edinburgh Airport. You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and supporting lounge operations to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for our passengers.
What You'll Do
- Assist the lounge team with the delivery of an excellent lounge experience.
- Ensure the kitchen and all storage locations are kept clean, hygienic and adhere to all health and safety standards.
- Wash all crockery, cutlery and light equipment, using designated sinks for oversized items.
- Clean kitchen ovens, fridges and floors in accordance with operating standards.
- Ensure that all crockery, cutlery and equipment is stored correctly and that floors and fire exits are kept free of obstacles.
- Monitor all waste disposal bins, ensuring waste items are recycled and policy is followed.
- Report any maintenance issues.
- Clear all breakages and spillages promptly, following operating procedure.
- Take receipt of all deliveries, ensure items arrive correctly, and manage stock rotation.
What We're Looking For
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- You must be over the age of 18.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
