Handshake is seeking a KiCad Specialist for flexible, hourly contract work focused on AI research. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to evaluate AI-generated content and provide feedback, helping AI models better understand electronics design tasks and EDA workflows.
What You'll Do
- Use your experience with KiCad to create tool-related questions.
- Review AI-generated responses for accuracy and relevance to real-world hardware engineering and PCB design workflows.
What We're Looking For
- At least 3+ years of hands-on experience with KiCad, whether through professional work or freelance projects.
- A working knowledge of schematic capture, PCB layout concepts, and EDA workflows.
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and follow written guidelines.
- Must be currently residing in the United States.
Nice to Have
- Experience with LibrePCB is a plus.
