  • Design analogue, digital, and mixed-signal circuits with a strong focus on safety, reliability, and compliance.
  • Produce and review schematics and PCB layouts.
  • Support electronic architecture decisions in collaboration with the Principal Electronics Engineer, Software engineering and systems engineering.
  • Perform component selection, design calculations, and risk assessments in line with IEC 60601 and ISO 14971.
  • Lead electronics design verification activities, including functional testing, EMC pre-compliance, and safety-related testing.
  • Support debugging and root-cause analysis during prototype development and verification.
  • Prepare and maintain high-quality technical documentation suitable for regulated medical device development.
  • Support transfer to manufacturing, including engagement with suppliers and CMOs.
  • Provide technical guidance and informal mentoring to junior electronics engineers.
  • Participate actively in design reviews and contribute to continuous product improvement.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience taking electronics designs for safety-critical products from concept to manufacturing.
  • Expertise in analogue, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design.
  • Deep understanding of design for compliance within regulated industries, particularly medical devices.
  • Strong proficiency with electronics design verification, including EMC and safety testing.
  • Ability to produce and review schematics and PCB layouts.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills for debugging and root-cause analysis.
