What You'll Do
Work hands-on in the lab to evaluate and validate silicon devices at both chip and board levels, ensuring they meet design specifications. Build and test power electronics circuits to assess performance under real-world conditions.
Create evaluation boards using Altium Designer to validate power delivery and functionality. Develop Python scripts to automate measurement processes and analyze test data efficiently.
Identify and document device anomalies, then develop practical solutions to address them. Produce technical reports, datasheets, and validation summaries to support internal teams and product documentation.
Partner with design, test, product, and quality engineers to troubleshoot issues and refine device performance. Provide technical support to customers during product integration and production ramp-up.
Requirements
- Experience in validating mixed-signal or power semiconductor devices
- Proficiency with Altium Designer for board development
- Strong scripting skills in Python for test automation and data analysis
- Ability to debug and characterize silicon behavior at the component and circuit level
- Experience creating technical documentation such as validation reports and datasheets
- Collaborative mindset with cross-functional engineering teams and customer-facing support
