Job Title: Sr. Software Engineer - Windows Sensor (Remote)

Role Overview
CrowdStrike is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Windows Sensor development team, focused on building and improving next-generation Anti-Virus and Enhanced Detection and Response Security Software. This role involves owning major components from design to delivery, working on low-level OS subsystems, and contributing to a globally deployed, AI-native cybersecurity platform.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Windows kernel mode sensor development team on architecture and strategy
- Build and improve next-generation Anti-Virus and Enhanced Detection and Response Security Software
- Develop new product concepts and drive innovation
- Support cross-platform software development for Windows, Mac, and Linux
- Own features from design through delivery, including participation in sprint demos
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams across global locations
Required Qualifications
- Deep knowledge of C++ and Windows OS Kernel Development
- Strong understanding of low-level OS internals (Windows, Mac OS, or Linux)
- Experience debugging memory corruptions, process contentions, and system performance issues
- Proven experience shipping major features and releases with teams
- Leadership, mentoring, communication, and collaboration skills in a distributed environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Expertise in OS subsystems such as WFP, TCP/IP, USB, and file systems
- Knowledge of security principles and practices
- Background in scalable, lightweight, and high-performance systems
- Familiarity with Agile development processes
- Experience with Git and other source control systems
