Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new key clients in priority verticals and strategic accounts.
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline through consistent outbound efforts and self-generated leads.
- Lead the entire sales process from initial contact to closing in complex mid-market and enterprise settings.
- Maintain regular outbound prospecting activities including calls, emails, outreach, and targeted account engagement.
- Take ownership of weekly pipeline generation targets and activity metrics.
- Conduct discovery conversations to identify business challenges related to commerce growth and operational efficiency.
- Present the platform as the core infrastructure for brands and retailers to scale marketplace and digital commerce operations.
- Adopt the company's selling methodology.
- Engage executive stakeholders and decision makers with clear value propositions.
- Manage complex sales processes involving cross-functional teams and extended sales cycles.
- Identify and pursue high-value mid-market and enterprise prospects that match the ideal client profile.
- Create account strategies that utilize marketplace expansion, channel coordination, and data intelligence capabilities.
- Manage opportunities using a structured sales methodology and regular deal review process.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as sales engineering, product, services, and leadership to move opportunities forward.
- Keep accurate pipeline visibility and forecast integrity.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of B2B SaaS or technology field sales experience in a closing role, focused on acquiring new logos from national key accounts with revenues between $50 million and $1 billion.
- Proven success managing sales cycles of 6 months or longer, including procurement, legal, and compliance processes.
- Documented history of closing deals with an annual contract value of $50,000 or more, including multi-year contracts; closing deals of $75,000 or more preferred.
- Consistent recent quota attainment of 100% or more for at least 4 consecutive quarters in a competitive, metrics-driven environment.
- Demonstrated ability to build pipeline through self-generated outbound prospecting with measurable activity standards such as 40 to 60 daily touchpoints and 10 or more qualified meetings per month.
- Strong hunter mindset with resilience and persistence in competitive environments and accountability for pipeline creation.
- Mastery of structured sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, Challenger, SPIN, Miller Heiman, or Solution Selling, with evidence of pipeline progression and forecast accuracy.
- Proven ability to sell complex platforms or solution offerings in multi-stakeholder environments.
- Experience engaging C-suite and senior executive stakeholders to build consensus and close complex new-logo deals.
- Strong deal strategy and negotiation skills including pricing, ROI justification, and defending business cases with executives.
- Ability to manage 10 or more concurrent opportunities while balancing prospecting, deal progression, and strategic follow-up.
- Exceptional executive communication and presence including clear, persuasive verbal and written communication.
- Disciplined use of CRM and sales tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, Salesloft, HubSpot, LinkedIn Navigator, and ZoomInfo for pipeline, activity, and conversion tracking.
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Client Success, and Solutions Engineering to close new business.
- Must be located in Central or Eastern US time zones.
