Imperial Supplies, a Grainger Company, is hiring a KeepStock Operations Manager. In this role, you will lead a team accountable for all on-site services within a specific geography or customer. You'll ensure execution through leadership in talent excellence, customer service, sales growth, and cost to serve, helping to Keep The World Working®.
What You'll Do
- Manage a team of 10 to 15 Onsite Service Representatives/Specialists who maintain inventory at customer sites across a large, remote geography.
- Manage channel profitability, expense/sales ratio, key performance indicators (KPIs), and quality control for customer programs.
- Partner with Sales, Distribution Centers, Branch, and transportation networks to drive profitability, growth, and operational targets.
- Implement a Leader Plan, including assessing and prioritizing work, coaching, training, and hiring top talent.
- Promote strong team member engagement and support team member development.
- Participate in development and continuous improvement projects to support channel growth and organizational goals.
- Manage optimization and operation of customer programs for efficiency and profitability across your assigned region.
- Manage resources for new customer installations to ensure they are on time and within budget.
- Understand market conditions, trends, and customer requirements to provide direction to the broader organization.
- Ensure the right solutions and resources are deployed to customers and maintain optimal customer satisfaction levels.
- Partner with internal Grainger teams to provide KeepStock expertise and develop tailored customer strategies.
- Act as a business steward by understanding how Sales and Service teams collaborate to drive profitable revenue growth.
What We're Looking For
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in retail, manufacturing, or an industrial business.
- 2+ years of experience supervising and managing people in a KPI-driven environment with an emphasis on training and development.
- Extensive travel is required (50%+) to various customer sites throughout the territory.
- Experience in financial accountability.
- Experience leading in a matrixed environment.
Team & Environment
You will lead a team of 10 to 15 Onsite Service Representatives/Specialists across a large and remote geography, reporting to a Market Manager.

- Compensation range: $68,640 - $94,380.
