Kal Tire is looking for a Business Support professional to manage financial and administrative operations for our Eastern Canada mine site and branch locations. This remote role involves managing accounts receivable and payable, time entry, and providing critical data reporting and safety support, all while ensuring adherence to customer and Kal Tire policies.
What You'll Do
- Manage accounts receivable, including monitoring, correcting issues, and providing monthly reports.
- Handle accounts payable to ensure timely and accurate supplier payments following company policies.
- Enter team member time accurately in the PeopleSoft payroll system and for customer labor billing.
- Assist in preparing monthly Kal Tire Health and Safety reporting documents.
- Coordinate, document, and update training and certification requirements for team members and sub-contractors.
- Provide Site Supervisors with required training documents and security passes.
- Arrange, track, and maintain site access for Kal Tire vehicles.
- Provide accurate reporting of inventory, invoicing, and safety statistics for customers.
- Initiate requisitions for customer support equipment using established protocols.
- Coordinate flights and camp accommodations for team members as required.
- Update, maintain, and report within the Kal Tire TOMS (Tire Management System).
- Facilitate prompt product delivery to site with correct documentation and proper billing.
- Participate in monthly team safety meetings and contribute to environmental goals.
What We're Looking For
- 2-4 years of office or administrative experience.
- Bilingual proficiency: excellent organizational and communication skills in both English and French.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiating, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and resolve problems under pressure.
- Ability to deliver effective results and meet tight deadlines.
- Motivated, self-starter who can find solutions and learn new skills quickly.
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
Nice to Have
- Certificate or diploma in office administration.
- Experience with a payroll system such as PeopleSoft.
- Experience with a Materials Management system like KINs.
- Experience with CDMS or SAP billing systems.
