About the Role The Junior Underwriter will provide comprehensive support to the Underwriting department across all functional areas. You Will Get To: - Facilitate comprehensive information collection for loan distribution to appropriate underwriting personnel - Maintain systematic organization of submittals, re-submittals, and underwriter workflows to ensure timely processing - Execute loan submissions to relevant investors - Conduct thorough reviews of resubmitted documentation - Maintain professional and effective communication with underwriting staff and leadership - Validate underwriting loan conditions per established guidelines - Collaborate with underwriting management on designated tasks and initiatives - Provide limited loan underwriting support under direct supervision and secondary verification This position is designated as a Remote role. "Remote" employees operate from a personally selected physical location, which must be formally communicated to the Company. U.S. employees may reside in any state, with minimal exceptions. In California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $24.80 - $39.60 hourly. This base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations. In Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Vermont the standard base pay range for this role is $23.60 - $37.60 hourly. The base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations. Beyond competitive base compensation, this position offers potential equity awards contingent on factors including experience, performance, and location. Actual compensation will vary based on individual qualifications. Employees will receive compensation meeting or exceeding state-specific exempt salary thresholds.
