DV Trading is looking for a Junior Trader to join a proprietary trading team. In this role, you will work directly alongside senior traders, learning proprietary methodologies and systems while contributing to an established trading business.
What You'll Do
- Work side by side with senior traders.
- Learn proprietary methodologies and trading systems.
- Manage real-time risk, including trade entry and risk layoffs.
- Build and maintain trading models.
- Enhance existing trades and identify new opportunities.
- Liaise between the trading group, internal departments, and OTC relationships.
- Take on further responsibilities driven by your interests and skills.
What We're Looking For
- 1+ years of experience in a trading role.
- A degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to read, write, and speak fluent Mandarin Chinese and English.
- Strong work ethic and ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and diligent approach.
- Strong understanding of math, probability, and statistics.
- Proficient with Excel and VBA.
- Proficient with SQL, Python, and statistical modeling.
- Advanced aptitude for problem solving and multitasking.
Nice to Have
- Other programming experience is a plus.
