Asset & Wealth Management is hiring a Junior Trader and Portfolio Manager Analyst for its Global Fixed Income and Currency team in New York, NY. You will be an integral part of the trading and portfolio management team, supporting portfolio management efforts and collaborating with operations and technology support.
What You'll Do
- Allocate, execute, and reconcile trades.
- Work with portfolio managers to build and monitor risk in portfolios, including management of cash flows.
- Maintain and rebalance portfolios across strategies.
- Work with technology and strat teams to increase automation, improve data quality, and create new trading tools.
- Liaise with operations daily to resolve any trading issues.
- Update and maintain reports for weekly and bi-weekly strategy meetings.
What We're Looking For
- 0.5 - 3 years of relevant experience.
- Numerical and analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong systems knowledge.
- Keen interest in financial markets.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
Team & Environment
You will be part of the Global Fixed Income and Currency team and the trading/portfolio management team in New York.
Benefits & Compensation
- Salary: $85,000 - $110,000
- Eligibility for a discretionary bonus if active at fiscal year-end.
