As a Junior Specialist in Treasury Back Office, you will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of international financial transactions across the EMEA region. Based in Berlin with flexible working arrangements, you'll work within a future-focused team that values efficiency, collaboration, and digital innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit required financial reports on foreign transactions and balances to central banking authorities, including EU-specific filings such as AWV reporting
- Serve as the primary liaison for central banks, managing the formal registration of group entities in regional reporting systems
- Configure and maintain internal reporting platforms to ensure accurate and timely data flow
- Respond to internal and external inquiries, including conducting quality checks and supporting audit readiness
- Assist subsidiaries with audit preparation, execution, and follow-up activities
- Drive improvements in reporting workflows by contributing to automation and digital transformation initiatives
- Document procedures and maintain up-to-date knowledge on compliance and reporting standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in accounting, procurement, and sales to implement effective financial solutions
What You Bring
- Commercial training or a degree in business administration
- Initial experience or academic exposure to Cash Management, Treasury, or Corporate Finance
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently while driving process innovation
- Fluency in English; German language skills are an advantage
- Familiarity with SAP FI and advanced MS Excel capabilities
- Understanding of AWV reporting procedures is preferred
- A technical mindset with interest in digital tools and automation
