NKT Cable Solutions is looking for a Junior Project & Portfolio Planner to plan complex land cable projects during both bidding and execution phases. You will join our team dedicated to high-voltage cable manufacturing and help connect a greener world.
What You'll Do
- Plan land cable projects in both the bidding and execution phases
- Create and update project plans
- Regularly analyze project progress and critical project phases
- Identify and analyze project risks and improvement opportunities for risk mitigation
- Conduct cross-factory portfolio and capacity planning
- Work closely with Engineering, Production, Logistics, Installation, and Commissioning departments
- Create and update cross-project resource analyses
- Communicate project information and customer feedback to internal project stakeholders
- Further develop processes and tools to continuously improve planning, progress monitoring, and reporting
What We're Looking For
- A completed university degree with a focus on electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable field
- Knowledge of project management techniques, processes, and tools, including planning, ideally in project control
- IT skills in all relevant Microsoft Office applications
- A high level of work discipline and professionalism, curiosity, and a desire to learn about new technologies
- A collaborative, solution-oriented approach and extensive communication skills
- Ability to work in multicultural, international, and diverse teams and adapt to different personalities
- Willingness to travel to customers and construction sites
- Negotiation-secure German and English language skills, spoken & written
