Staff4Me is hiring a Junior DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will support senior engineers in building and maintaining robust infrastructure and automating processes, while assisting in the development and deployment of web applications and APIs.

What You'll Do

Assist in designing, implementing, and managing infrastructure using automation tools like Ansible.
Collaborate with the development team to deploy and maintain web applications using PHP and Python.
Support the design, development, and maintenance of RESTful APIs for seamless integration.
Assist in setting up and managing monitoring systems like the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
Work closely with software engineers, QA teams, and other stakeholders for smooth integration and deployment of software updates.
Assist in implementing security best practices, conducting security scans, and vulnerability assessments.
Maintain documentation for systems, applications, and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing.

What We're Looking For

Good understanding of REST APIs and JSON, with demonstrated experience using Postman.
Fluent with Excel for importing, exporting, and manipulating data.
Basic understanding of networking concepts such as switches, access points, and VLANs.
Basic experience interacting with virtual machines and ESXi.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Familiarity with programming languages like PHP and Python.
Basic understanding of infrastructure automation tools like Ansible.
Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience in their development and consumption.
Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and shell scripting.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Good verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.

Nice to Have

Knowledge of monitoring systems like the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
Exposure to containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
