Jobgether is hiring a Junior Data Visualization Developer to design and deliver impactful data visualization solutions supporting major federal programs. You will transform complex data into clear, interactive dashboards that inform high-level decisions and improve operational insight.
What You'll Do
- Develop intuitive dashboards and data visualization tools using Microsoft Power BI or similar platforms.
- Create user-friendly interfaces and reporting solutions to visualize administrative and program data.
- Maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot dashboards, ensuring accuracy and relevance of displayed data.
- Support data modeling, database design, and cleansing processes for analytics and reporting.
- Partner with internal teams to understand business requirements and translate them into visual insights.
- Produce documentation, process guides, and visual data flow maps to support dashboard management.
- Contribute to ad hoc analyses and visualization projects supporting business or program goals.
- Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience building dashboards in Microsoft Power BI or equivalent tools.
- Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases.
- Strong understanding of data visualization principles and BI best practices.
- Experience modeling and cleansing data for reporting purposes.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a government background check.
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree.
- Experience with SAS or other statistical tools.
- Familiarity with health or public data.
