Jobgether is hiring a Senior Data Engineer with a focus on data enrichment to join our Content and Data team. In this remote role, you will develop and enhance our data processes to improve the quality and relevance of our job listings, using machine learning and natural language processing to better match job seekers with opportunities.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement strategies for enriching datasets to enhance information quality for analysis and decision-making.
- Implement, support, and manage ML algorithms for improved data processing and insights, focusing on utilizing existing models.
- Utilize NLP techniques to process and analyze textual data for better understanding and categorization of job listings and profiles.
- Develop and maintain non-relational database systems like MongoDB to store enriched data efficiently.
- Build, operate, and optimize data pipelines to ensure seamless data ingestion, processing, and delivery.
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to understand data needs and document workflows and processes.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 3 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on data enrichment and machine learning applications.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish.
- Experience with non-relational databases like MongoDB and familiarity with relational databases.
- Practical experience with NLP techniques and frameworks.
- Proficiency in Python with a solid understanding of data manipulation libraries.
Nice to Have
- Some experience working with machine learning algorithms like scikit-learn or TensorFlow in data engineering contexts.
- Experience with cloud services such as AWS for data storage and processing.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to optimize data flows and processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
