Jobgether is hiring an AI Research Engineer to play a pivotal role in advancing the development of AI models applied to drug discovery and therapeutics. You will collaborate closely with AI scientists, engineers, and domain experts to design, implement, and deploy innovative models that accelerate the identification of novel therapies.

What You'll Do

Develop, implement, and deploy AI and machine learning models for applications in drug discovery and therapeutic development.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including AI scientists, engineers, and life science experts to translate scientific questions into computational solutions.
Conduct research on advanced machine learning and deep learning techniques, applying them to real-world biomedical datasets.
Optimize model performance and scalability, ensuring robust, reproducible, and production-ready solutions.
Analyze complex data, evaluate alternative approaches, and provide actionable recommendations based on findings.
Communicate research results and technical insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Contribute to publications and presentations at top AI and machine learning conferences to share findings and innovations.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in AI, machine learning, or related fields, with proven success in production deployment of models.
Strong programming skills, particularly in Python, with experience using relevant AI frameworks and libraries.
Solid understanding of deep learning fundamentals, neural network architectures, optimization techniques, and evaluation metrics.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a passion for tackling complex healthcare challenges.
Effective collaboration and communication skills for working in fast-paced, multidisciplinary teams.
Experience working cross-functionally, evaluating alternative solutions, and navigating trade-offs.

Nice to Have

Advanced degrees preferred.
Familiarity with drug discovery, computational biology, or bioinformatics is highly desirable.
Publication record in reputable AI/ML conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR) is a plus.
