At Jobgether, we are hiring a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and cloud-based architectures. Your work will enable advanced analytics and data-driven decision-making across the organization.

What You'll Do

Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end data solutions, ensuring performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
Integrate multiple data sources, including relational databases, streaming platforms, and cloud storage systems.
Develop and optimize SQL queries and programmatic pipelines to support analytics and reporting.
Collaborate with software engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Create detailed technical documentation, including POCs, system diagrams, and architecture roadmaps.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle: design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Support workflow management and orchestration using tools such as Airflow, Luigi, or equivalent platforms.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, Data Engineer, or Data Analyst.
Strong programming skills in Python, Java, and/or Scala.
Proficiency with cloud platforms, including Snowflake, AWS, Azure, GCP, and Databricks.
Advanced SQL skills, including writing, debugging, and optimizing complex queries.
Experience with data integration and transformation technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Streamsets, Matillion, Fivetran, NiFi, or dbt.
Knowledge of distributed data storage systems (S3, ADLS, HDFS, GCS, Kudu, NoSQL databases).
Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools like Airflow, AWS Managed Airflow, Luigi, or NiFi.
Strong English communication skills (written and verbal) for client-facing interactions and presentations.

Nice to Have

Experience with multiple data sources, automated pipelines, and production-ready cloud data platforms.
