Jobgether is hiring a Junior Data Analyst to support our dynamic analytics team focused on cybersecurity and security operations. This remote role involves supporting the development of analytical products, reporting metrics, and security controls to drive informed decision-making. You will be part of a collaborative and innovative environment, learning and contributing to crucial security analytics processes.
What You'll Do
- Support the creation, update, and maintenance of policies, procedures, and system documentation for analytical products and reporting packages.
- Organize and maintain a comprehensive Metrics & Reporting inventory.
- Ensure successful and timely delivery of metrics and reporting projects to quality standards.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support strategy, decision-making, and security initiatives.
- Assist with automation maturity efforts and research security platform systems and processes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge on internal policies, procedures, and analytics practices.
- Collaborate with team members to meet and exceed established goals, including scheduling and facilitating meetings as needed.
What We're Looking For
- A High School diploma/GED with 2+ years of administrative support experience, or equivalent education/experience.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, R Studio, and SQL.
- Experience working with structured and unstructured data sources.
- Strong organizational, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain risks, analysis, and technical concepts clearly.
- Highly motivated with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tasks.
- Ability to build strong collaborative relationships with technical and business teams.
