We are seeking a Junior Contract Support Specialist to support acquisition services for government agencies. The ideal candidate will assist with strategic planning, data analysis, documentation development, cost estimation, and compliance reviews specifically for the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Responsibilities:
- Assist technical experts in developing comprehensive Statements of Work and Performance Work Statements
- Support acquisition planning, market research, and source selection document preparation
- Prepare contract modifications, cost/price analyses, reports, and contract termination documents
- Execute diverse procurement tasks including research, analysis, document management, and administrative support
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
- Minimum two (2) years of federal contracting experience within the last five (5) years
Additional Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Comprehensive review of procurement documents
- Ability to identify and resolve documentation inconsistencies
- Proficiency in interpreting federal acquisition policies and regulations
- Skill in drafting contract-related documents
- Capability to perform market research and trend analysis
- Expertise in processing procurement packages
- Competence in invoice review and contract closeout procedures
- Ability to monitor quality assurance surveillance plans
Eligibility:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Must be able to obtain and maintain federal public trust clearance
Compensation:
Salary range of $65,000 - $75,000 with comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, paid time off, federal holidays, and 401K matching.
