We are recruiting an experienced Project Director with profound Industrial Hygiene expertise to spearhead intricate projects across the Southeast region. This leadership position involves managing extensive client engagements, mentoring junior professionals, and driving business expansion initiatives. The preferred candidate will demonstrate extensive experience in asbestos, lead-based paint, mold, and indoor air quality assessments, coupled with robust regulatory knowledge and exceptional client interaction skills. Responsibilities: - Direct and supervise industrial hygiene projects from inception to completion, guaranteeing quality and regulatory compliance - Manage client relationships and serve as primary strategic account interface - Execute and validate assessments for asbestos, lead-based paint, mold, and indoor air quality concerns - Formulate project scopes, budgets, and timelines; ensure profitability and client satisfaction - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to project managers and field personnel - Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state-specific regulations across the Southeast - Advance business development efforts, including proposal creation and client presentations - Represent J.S. Held at industry conferences and networking events Qualifications: - Degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health, Occupational Safety, or related discipline - 10–20 years in industrial hygiene consulting, with minimum 5 years in leadership/project management - Certifications: - State-specific asbestos and lead certifications for Southeast states - Mold and IAQ credentials such as CIAQP or AIHA accreditation preferred - Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and teams - Strong business development and client relationship capabilities - Exceptional communication and leadership skills Additional Information Benefits Include: - Flexible work environment supporting remote work - Flexible Time Off Policy - Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance - 401k Match - Commuter Benefits Salary range estimated at $120,000-$180,000, based on multiple factors including experience, skills, and role complexity.
