Responsibilities
- Support red team penetration testing activities.
- Evaluate existing system security by detecting vulnerabilities and current protective controls.
- Assist in analyzing and addressing security weaknesses.
- Conduct and document penetration tests on systems, including cloud environments, to meet NIST 800-53 CA-8 requirements, following standards such as NIST SP 800-115, PTES, and ISSAF.
- Monitor emerging attack techniques and novel network exploitation methods.
- Strengthen incident response capabilities through reporting and technical support.
- Help maintain red team operational infrastructure.
- Create or adapt tools for automated discovery and exploitation using scripting languages like bash, Python, JavaScript, or PowerShell.
