Responsibilities
- Assist the red team in conducting offensive security operations.
- Evaluate existing security postures by detecting vulnerabilities and current defensive controls.
- Support clients in analyzing and addressing identified security weaknesses.
- Conduct and document penetration tests on on-premises and cloud-based systems to meet NIST 800-53 CA-8 requirements.
- Apply recognized testing frameworks such as NIST SP 800-115, PTES, and ISSAF during assessments.
- Monitor emerging threats and advanced exploitation techniques targeting network infrastructures.
- Aid incident response units by improving capabilities and delivering actionable intelligence.
- Create or adapt automation tools using scripting languages like bash, Python, JavaScript, or PowerShell for reconnaissance or exploitation tasks.
