Freedom Forever is hiring a Journeyman Electrician to provide technical expertise for residential solar installations. In this role, you will ensure all electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with state and local codes.
What You'll Do
- Assemble and install residential solar electrical components
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical system issues
- Ensure all work meets NEC, OSHA, AHJ, and utility requirements
- Coordinate with branch leaders to meet compliance standards
- Maintain safe work practices and high-quality workmanship
- Bend conduit (EMT) with consistent, high-quality results
- Upload photos, document work, and update job status
- Deliver excellent customer service throughout the project
- Perform other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid State of Michigan Journeyman Electrician License
- 3+ years of electrical installation and repair experience
- Skilled in residential service upgrades and panel replacements
- Proficient with hand and power tools
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
