Chandos is looking for a Journeyman Carpenter to construct and maintain high-quality buildings as part of our collaborative, employee-owned team. We build on our strength of diversity and are driven by purpose, innovation, and courage.
What You'll Do
- Construct and maintain buildings using construction and remodeling best practices
- Hang doors and drill and set door hardware
- Set windows and perform layout for stairs and common rafters
- Build formwork and read blueprints
- Perform materials estimates using mathematical and analytical skills
What We're Looking For
- Journeyperson Carpenter ticket or current registration as an apprentice
- Solid knowledge of tools, materials, safety, and construction best practices
- Willingness to travel and work out of town if needed
Nice to Have
- Experience working with a large general contractor
- A valid driver's license and vehicle
