The Institute For Optimum Nutrition is hiring a Journalist to produce high-quality copy for our public-facing Optimum Nutrition newsletter, bi-annual booklet, and website. This role is an excellent opportunity to develop skills across a range of media outputs, creating engaging content for digital streams and marketing activities.

What You'll Do

• Produce high-quality copy for the public-facing Optimum Nutrition newsletter, bi-annual booklet, and website.
• Create engaging content for digital media streams and marketing activities.
• Create content including in-depth features, interviews, and news for the monthly Optimum Nutrition newsletter, marketing campaigns, website, and social media.
• Accurately proof and sub content on-screen.
• Read and understand research papers, with an understanding of research methods.
• Work as part of a team and lead on projects when required.

What We're Looking For

• A qualified journalist (degree or NCTJ).
• Ability to work at pace.
• A sense of fun with a strong professional ethic and the ability to get things done.
• Ability to create content including in-depth features, interviews, and news.
• Ability to accurately proof and sub content on-screen.
• Ability to read and understand research papers, with an understanding of research methods.
• Organisational skills.
• Excellent individual and group communication skills.
• Initiative and the ability to work as part of a team and to lead on projects when required.
• Keen interest in health and nutrition.
• Ability to switch from writing an in-depth feature to producing promotional pieces.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of InDesign, Dreamweaver, Audition, and Premier Pro.

• Compensation: £24,720.00 0.8 FTE pro rata (£30,900 full-time equivalent).

This is a hybrid role based in Richmond, London.
