Cnx is hiring a Java Full Stack Developer

At Cnx, we are seeking a Java Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team in the fintech space. You will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing our web applications, leveraging a diverse technology stack, while also providing support for Windows-based systems.

What You'll Do

• Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications using Java, Ricola, ColdFusion, Angular, JavaScript, and REST APIs.
• Support and troubleshoot existing Windows-based applications developed with VB.NET and Visual Basic.
• Analyze current applications and architectures to identify performance bottlenecks and technical debt.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect and implement modernization opportunities.
• Ensure the reliability and performance of applications through rigorous testing and proactive maintenance.
• Document technical processes, system designs, and coding practices.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Java development and web application support.
• Proficiency in Ricola, ColdFusion, Angular, JavaScript, and REST APIs.
• Strong skills in VB.NET and Visual Basic for Windows application support.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the fintech industry.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services.
• Knowledge of modern software architecture patterns and practices.
• Experience with batch processing frameworks.
