Contour Software is seeking Trainee Software Developers to join one of its R&D teams in Karachi. Candidates will undergo a 3 to 3.5-month training program to develop skills for working on enterprise-level applications, with a strong possibility of full-time employment upon successful completion. The role supports global divisions of Constellation Software Inc. through collaboration across time zones from Sydney to Vancouver.
What You'll Do
- Work as part of an R&D team to implement, support, extend, enhance, and renew enterprise systems
- Serve as an extension of division-based R&D departments within Constellation Software Inc.
- Collaborate with teams across global time zones from Sydney to Vancouver
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of mission-critical enterprise software solutions
What We're Looking For
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Good programming concepts and knowledge of Java, C#, JavaScript, Angular, React, or VueJs
- Strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design
- Comfortable with SQL queries, and basic database development concepts
- Understanding of object-oriented programming and principles
- Knowledge of REST APIs
- Experience and knowledge of Git
- A quick learner, with attention to detail, and a commitment to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices
- Good verbal and non-verbal communication skills
