Shape impactful analytical tools as a Senior Applications Engineer on a growing remote team. You'll partner directly with clients—from technical stakeholders to executive leaders—to understand their unique challenges and deliver robust, scalable web applications that turn data into actionable insights.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with a focus on performance and usability
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services, ensuring seamless communication between frontend interfaces and data systems
- Collaborate closely with product and design teams to implement intuitive, visually consistent user experiences
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues to enhance application reliability and speed
- Lead code reviews and contribute to technical documentation, promoting consistency and knowledge sharing across projects
- Stay current with evolving web technologies and integrate AI-assisted development tools into your workflow to improve efficiency
- Work independently and guide small teams, managing timelines and deliverables with minimal oversight
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in full-stack application development, with at least four years in roles involving both frontend and backend systems
- Strong command of React and core web technologies: JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Proficiency in one or more backend languages such as Python, Java, C#, or Golang, with the ability to adapt to new frameworks
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services
- Familiarity with data application frameworks like Streamlit and relational databases (e.g., Postgres, MySQL)
- Understanding of version control, CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions), testing practices, and secure coding standards
- Experience working in client-facing or consulting roles, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to solve complex problems independently while contributing effectively to team goals
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with additional frontend frameworks such as Angular or Svelte
- Working knowledge of modern data platforms like Databricks or Snowflake
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- Background in observability, monitoring, or code instrumentation practices
