What You'll Do
Guide small engineering teams through the full development lifecycle, balancing hands-on coding with strategic oversight. Partner with product and design teams to shape features that support educators and learners. Lead code reviews to uphold quality standards and ensure production reliability across platforms.
Define and communicate technical direction, making sound architecture choices that align with long-term goals. Serve as a mentor to fellow engineers, fostering growth through collaboration and knowledge sharing. Stay engaged with evolving systems, contributing directly to cloud-based applications built for scale and usability.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years in software engineering, with at least 3 years designing component- or module-level solutions
- Proven experience in cloud-native environments, particularly with AWS
- Strong coding skills in JavaScript, NodeJS, and modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular
- Clear and effective communication of technical concepts to diverse audiences, both written and verbal
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability and a continuous learning mindset
