Shape cybersecurity from the ground up in a mission-driven environment focused on sustainable energy innovation. As the IT/OT Cybersecurity Manager, you will establish and maintain a comprehensive security posture across both enterprise IT and operational technology environments, ensuring resilience and compliance from concept through deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a unified cybersecurity strategy, including policies, standards, and governance models tailored to IT and OT systems
- Lead risk and compliance initiatives aligned with frameworks such as IEC 62443, NIST, ISO 27001, and NIS2
- Design secure architectures with attention to network segmentation and secure IT/OT interfaces
- Embed cybersecurity requirements into project lifecycles, vendor contracts, and system integrations
- Oversee security for industrial control systems including DCS, SIS, MES, LIMS, EAM, and IIoT platforms
- Manage incident response readiness, monitoring, vulnerability remediation, patching, and recovery processes
- Coordinate audits, penetration testing, and go-live security reviews
- Act as the primary cybersecurity liaison for engineering, operations, IT, and external partners
- Evaluate vendor cybersecurity maturity and guide integration efforts
- Lead training, awareness, and organizational change programs to strengthen security culture
Qualifications
You bring over eight years of hands-on cybersecurity experience, with direct involvement in industrial control and operational technology environments. You understand the nuances of SCADA, ICS, and the convergence of IT and OT systems.
Proven ability to translate technical risks into business terms and drive practical implementation is essential. Familiarity with NIST 800-82, IEC 62443, or ISO 27001 is preferred, as are certifications such as CISSP, GICSP, or GIAC.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills and experience in cross-functional, technical environments are key to success in this role.
