Solvay is looking for a Global Network Security Engineer to provide complete and seamless network and security services for its global infrastructure. You will join the Secured Network Team within Digital Technology Infrastructure, covering all industrial and non-industrial sites around the world.
What You'll Do
- Implement and maintain security tools and technologies, including firewalls, SASE, remote access solutions, authentication/authorization systems, and access controls.
- Identify, design, and execute security projects to improve security and detection.
- Collaborate with security architects to design and implement enhanced security technologies and with all stakeholders involved in various projects.
- Define technical design for Security and Network based on Solvay's standards.
- Follow up on Cyber risk resolution for the Secured Network scope.
- Support incident response efforts with the NOC and SOC by providing expertise on network security breaches.
What We're Looking For
- Relevant education degree or equivalent in Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a comparable field.
- Expert in designing and configuring advanced network security solutions to protect global IT infrastructures against cyber threats.
- Deep knowledge of security frameworks and standards, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls, to guide network security practices, as well as generic ITIL processes.
Nice to Have
- Certifications on Palo Alto Network technology (On-prem FW, Prisma, SDWAN, Panorama, Strata).

Team & Environment
You will be part of the Secured Network Team covering 70 user sites, including 40 plants, 5 Data Centers, and Cloud services. This team sits within the Solvay Digital Technology Infrastructure organization.
