Wolters Kluwer ELM Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Lead Cyber Security Specialist to design and deliver innovative security plans protecting our products and cloud services. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring security, responding to threats and incidents, and ensuring our solutions remain secure, compliant, and trusted.
What You'll Do
- Select, design, and use tools for monitoring security and responding to threats and incidents.
- Implement and stay abreast of Cloud and DevOps industry best practices and tooling.
- Take part in assessing the security of products leveraging AI.
- Apply Incident Response procedures related to acknowledged attacks.
- Perform security incident assessments and classification based on risk.
- Design, plan, and execute periodical Vulnerability Assessments.
- Address the Vulnerability Management process on cloud infrastructures using international methodologies and standards.
- Perform impact analysis and remediation of vulnerabilities.
- Support and guide the Development Department with proper remediations.
- Perform threat intelligence activities.
- Evaluate the security level of new developments.
- Fine tune compliance as code.
- Support development teams in designing threat modeling and defining security requirements.
- Support SecDevOps activities (such as SAST, DAST, SCA, security tests).
What We're Looking For
- At least 7 years of experience in cyber security roles.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (work experience may substitute for education requirements).
- Experience with modern security tools and platforms, including WAF technologies, SIEM platforms, IDS/IPS systems, Cloud Provider Threat Detection Service, Multi-Provider Cloud Native Application Protection Platforms, CIEM tools, EDR technologies.
- Strong understanding of the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC).
- Familiarity with major Information Security regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 1 & SOC 2, DORA, NIS2).
- Ability to analyze code and support secure development practices.
- Fluency in Italian and good knowledge of English.

Work Mode
This role offers a hybrid work model with the possibility of full remote work. The position is based in Italy, with office locations in Lucca, Milan, Turin, Rome, and Salerno.
