Infosys Consulting is looking for an Operating Technology (OT) Security Subject Matter Expert (m/w/d) to join our team in Germany. You will be a key consultant for securing our clients' Operational Technology (OT) environments, industrial control systems (ICS), and SCADA networks. In this role, you will design, implement, and evolve cybersecurity solutions for clients in critical infrastructure, manufacturing, energy, and industrial sectors.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement secure architecture strategies, frameworks, and best practices for OT environments.
- Conduct security assessments and risk analyses to identify vulnerabilities in ICS, SCADA, and IIoT networks.
- Design, review, and optimize cybersecurity controls considering relevant standards like NIST, IEC 62443, ISO 27001, CIS, and Zero Trust.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to integrate security requirements into industrial control architectures and OT networks.
- Provide expert advice on security technologies like firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, and encryption tailored to OT infrastructures.
- Work with engineering and operations teams to secure industrial environments against cyber threats.
- Develop security policies, processes, and documentation to support security initiatives in critical infrastructures.
- Lead and support incident response and threat mitigation measures, including monitoring and securing industrial networks.
- Continuously observe new threats, vulnerabilities, and trends in OT cybersecurity.
What We're Looking For
- Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information technology, engineering, or a comparable field.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, risk management, or comparable roles with a strong focus on OT security.
- Experience in a consulting or advisory role, particularly in critical infrastructure sectors.
- Solid knowledge of common security frameworks such as NIST, IEC 62443, ISO 27001, CIS, and TOGAF.
- Practical experience with security tools like SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, endpoint security, and IAM solutions for OT environments.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., NERC CIP, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex security topics understandably to non-technical stakeholders.
- Very good communication skills in German (C2) and English (C2).
- Project-related willingness to travel.
Nice to Have
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, GICSP, ISA/IEC 62443, or TOGAF.
- Knowledge of secure remote access solutions for OT environments.
- Experience with industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA, and IIoT security.
- Solid knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) for OT environments.
- Broad business competence profile, particularly in stakeholder management, problem-solving, and resilience.
- Experience in gathering, analyzing, preparing, and communicating information for different target groups.
- Enjoy working with clients from different industries.
- Experience balancing technical and commercial requirements to develop practical solutions.
- Ability to build strong and sustainable business relationships at all levels.
- Ability to professionally support and guide less experienced colleagues.
- Ability to explain complex cyber methods understandably and non-technically (written and orally).
