iTech AG seeks a Product Owner to support a federal client in defining, implementing, and delivering software products focused on modernizing various systems. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the product backlog to ensure maximum business value is delivered by the development team.
What You'll Do
- Work with the government team to clarify requirements, including initiatives, features, and user stories.
- Assist in managing and refining the team product feature backlog.
- Lead user story development and refinement of acceptance criteria.
- Prioritize functionality into sprints and coordinate management of expectations.
- Support program-level functional roadmap development.
- Provide functional needs and depth of understanding to the team during sprint planning.
- Support and highlight business value presentations at system demos and iteration reviews.
- Coordinate efforts across the program and work dependencies with the greater team.
- Facilitate team backlog refinement.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Product Owner or Project Manager, working with agile software teams.
- Experience utilizing SAFe methodologies for agile delivery of business systems and applications.
- Experience collaborating with stakeholders at various levels.
- In-depth knowledge of Agile processes and principles.
- Outstanding presentation and leadership skills.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must work east coast work hours.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
Nice to Have
- Certified SAFe® Product Manager/Product Owner.
- Experience supporting ServiceNow implementation projects.
