NumerixS Quant is hiring an IT Vendor Manager to manage infrastructure and data vendor relationships for our algorithmic trading firm. You will ensure vendors perform as required in a timely manner within our data-driven, high-performance environment, acting as the primary point of contact for monitoring and escalation.

What You'll Do

Own and manage vendor relationships across data, live market data, infrastructure, managed services, and prime broker operations teams.
Act as the primary point of contact for performance monitoring, working closely with quant and tech teams to ensure minimal latency, errors, or downtime.
Actively escalate with vendor's business people and senior management as required to ensure performance.
Maintain visibility into contract and support renewals and license compliance.

What We're Looking For

10+ years in vendor management.
5+ years experience in project management.
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in information technology, business administration, or a related field.
Ability to operate independently within a lean team, wearing multiple hats when needed.
Quick decision-making and troubleshooting skills to resolve vendor-related issues impacting trading operations.

Nice to Have

Experience in the quant hedge fund industry with data and infrastructure vendors.
Understanding of tight timelines in the quant trading industry.
Understanding of market data vendors, execution platforms, cloud computing, and trading infrastructure.
Understanding of quant fund or systematic trading environments and low-latency infrastructure and connectivity platforms.
