Fives Stein (Division Steel & Glass) is looking for an IT Systems and Networks Engineer to be a key player in our IT team. Reporting to the Group Systems and Networks Manager, you will be responsible for designing, evolving, and securing our critical infrastructure. This role is fully remote with occasional travel to our datacenter in Lille.
What You'll Do
- Design, administer, and supervise Cloud and DataCenter infrastructures
- Guarantee the availability, performance, and security of systems and networks
- Identify, analyze, and correct technical vulnerabilities
- Supervise and optimize operational processes
- Provide high-level expertise to local teams and international subsidiaries
- Formalize and maintain operational and infrastructure documentation
- Support local IT teams in deploying and securing solutions
- Lead infrastructure projects (modernization, migration, cybersecurity, virtualization, networks, Cloud)
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, ensuring follow-up and respect of deadlines and budgets
- Actively participate in defining the Group IT roadmap
What We're Looking For
- Graduate of a Bac+5 program (engineering school or equivalent) in IT, systems, and networks
- Proven experience (7 years minimum) in systems and network administration/engineering, with significant project management dimension
- Fluent English is essential for our international environment
- Technical leadership, collaborative spirit, and customer-service orientation
Technical Stack
- Windows Server (2012 to 2022), Microsoft services (ADDS, DNS, DHCP, NAP, PKI)
- Mastery of Linux environments
- Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.)
- Network protocols (TCP/IP, SNMP, IPSEC, SMTP)
- Advanced LAN/WAN, DMZ, VLAN, WiFi configuration
Team & Environment
You will report directly to the Group Systems and Networks Manager and integrate into our IT team, working in a fully remote capacity.
Work Mode
This is a hybrid role offering full telework with occasional travel required to our datacenter in Lille (59).
